Oooh, so sorry to hear that. I have a friend who has dealt with Crohns for a while. Not at all a simple thing to live with. Hope this flare up passes soon.

Strangeness galore around here I fear. I’m having to retreat back to my old job in order to stay with the company. I hate it and have my partial pension already so I could leave, but with a few years till a full pension I decided to stomach it out and make the best of it. And at least I know I can do the job. Pay will be the same.

Was bitten by a spider on my left eyebrow last week. It swelled to the size of an egg and my lymph glands in my neck did as well. It’s been about and a week and a half now; I’m almost back to normal though the skin ended up peeling pretty bad.

And lastly my folks had a homicide team on their property on Monday. Seems they found a car in the creek. Unsure what happened but they had divers, cops and detectives out there for the better part of a day going over the area. Mom asked them but got the standard “We’re investigating a crime scene and can’t comment…” speech from the officer. I feel bad for them since this is the third death they've had on the little stretch of road that fronts the property. The other two (and hopefully this one) were from car crashes. What are the odds of such a small piece of property (eighty acres) attracting death in such a manner? Seventeen miles in the middle of friggin nowhere and people end up crashing in front of their property for no discernible reason. I always heard country roads were dangerous but this is ridiculous.
