The last kindness I received?
12 minutes ago. Childish laughter from a kid just because I hugged her. "Don't hug to tight. I'm just a littlle girl."

The last unexpected?
A hug from a co-worker. I was just doing my job.

From a stranger?
A stranger yelling at me to give me a $10 bill I'd dropped before I got away.

The most memorable?
Friends asking me to be the witch at their daughters birth for the Birthing/Welcome Ceremony.

I cry every time I see her. Not 'boo-hoo', I just leak out of the eyes.

Twice, in the last ten years, a stranger has pulled over and changed my tire. Both times they just wanted me to get out of the way and let them do it.

This past weekend, I recieved home hospitality along with two of my friends. We were attending a workshop in another city and someone in that community offered us a free place to stay. The hospitality was incredible - clean sheets, clean towels, and breakfast in the morning!

Once, when my husband has been laid off for four months, some friends stopped by and gave us an envelope with enough cash inside to almost cover a mortgage payment. We did not ask for help and we were not expecting any. They only asked that we didn't broadcast what they did. They would not accept repayment. A month later dh got a job. It saved our bacon.

Kindness always inspires me to pass it along.

My daughter and her roomate burst into my bedroom at midnight on Ostara. They brought me a dozen beautiful spring colored roses and a stuffed bunny. I found it so thoughtful and spontaneous, that I just was overwhelmed.
