Do you know any couples who have become engaged but never marry? What are your thoughts about that? Does it bother you in any way? Do you perhaps admire them for it?
I'm curious. I've been engaged now for over a year. I like it this way. It'd be fine with me if we never actually tie the knot but remain engaged to one another. But I'm curious. What are some opinions about couples who stay engaged indefinately?

Then again, it's not exactly a choice - I expect to stay engaged without getting married indefinitely, simply because marriage, for me, is illegal in the country I come from.
